In a recent blog post on her website, Kardashian elaborated on her love for push presents (called “push” for the gifts women receive from their partners immediately after giving birth). “After nine months of pregnancy, it’s a sweet and well-deserved thank you”, she wrote, then added: “We women go through an entire pregnancy carrying a baby. Of course it only makes sense that we get something amazing to show how amazing we are!”.
As for the gift itself, Kardashian is going for the full bling: ““This pregnancy”, she wrote, “I would love a Lorraine Schwartz diamond choker […] Too much? LOL!”
Style expert Michael O’Connor, who was quoted in a Yahoo Parenting piece on the subject, estimated that a Lorraine Schwartz diamond choker can run up to $1 million, depending on the total carat weight. At the least, Lorraine Schwartz diamond chokers cost several hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Kardashian’s view of pregnancy is as honest an unapologetic as her demand for an expensive “compensation” following the ordeal. Speaking to E! Online in mid-November, the most famous Kardashian said: “I just don’t think pregnancy and me really agree with each other […] I’m just being honest […] I hate it. You know pregnancy is not for me”. She went on to say that she’s “not going to sit here and lie and act like it’s the most blissful experience. It’s awful”.
